With this wordpress plugin you can edit page templates from within the page they are being used for, you will have a new textarea to edit the actual .php file that is the page template that the page you’re editing is currently using. If it is not using any custom page template, it doesn’t show the textarea.

Josh,
This is BRILLIANT!
Would have been so useful so many times in other projects. Should BE A CORE WordPress function.
Just one question before I install and try it.
The best addition to this would be a SAVE AS in case the Admin wanted the Original template to still apply to other pages.
Or a “Create a new template based on this template?”
Still, of course, I can backup that template file with FTP before editing online with your plugin.
But, your plugin concept is indispensable from now on!
Thank you!
