Features: Social Networking functionality, Google Maps with custom plotted markers and connecting lines, extensive Twitter and Facebook API integrations, jQuery effects, Ajax, Photo Uploads and photo cropping, highly scalable back end framework

Ecology Global Network
Ecology Global Network is a multimedia portal focused on ecology and the environment, providing content-rich resources with global perspectives.
This is a heavily customized WordPress website. There are many features and functionalities that are hooked into which specific category you’re visiting or which parent category you are browsing in and things like background images, sidebars and their content are pulled in dynamically depending on the category or sub-category you are currently viewing. There are many features added for the website admins to be able to update specific data and info that is populated throughout the site, like: The slides on the homepage, the daily “did you know” and Word and Country widget contents. Very rich in multimedia from customized popout “radio” player, video players throughout, and even custom post templates for “photo essays”.
My Social List
Social Music Event/Concert Tracking Website where you see which artists/bands are getting the most buzz currently, see upcoming shows, and keep up on and track artists and shows!
Features I did: Developed the buzz tracking system: Scrapes raw data from 9 different blogs, and searches for mentions of artist names and aggregates this data to provide “who is getting the most buzz”, features for admin use like importing upcoming event info into a staging system for pushing event data into My Social List system, Coding of design

Other features include: Drag and drop profile field organizer, Ajax search, IP and proxy detection, Automatically disable accounts if they are using the features of the website inappropriately/too rapidly. Features built for admin include user management, approving/rejecting profiles and more.

Drag and Drop Voting WordPress Plugin

Featuring Jquery UI Draggable, Droppable, Sortable, AJAX vote submitting
Its a Drag and Drop and Sortable Voting plugin. You create different “surveys” with pictures as the items people are voting on, they drag their selections down to a fixed bottom bar, then submit their vote. Votes are submitted using Ajax, and they can see the overall results of the survey as soon as they submit their vote. Users can only vote once per day.
